Vienna Day 1 and 2
The beautiful city of Vienna is beautiful in two ways: the architecture and its transportation system. If you’re a museum buff or a transit nut, then this city is right for you. No wonder it’s a city with such high ratings for its livability when you can jog next to the Schonbrunn palace, or take your bike on its extensive bike trails and not feel threatened by a car. Here are some pictures from our first two days:
Ringstrasse
Parliament Building
Rathausplatz
Votivkirche
Sigmund Freud Park
Heldenplatz
Plague Column
Seccesion Building
Naschmarkt
Upper Belvedere
Lower Belvedere
Belvedere/orangery
Stadtpark and Johann Strauss monument
St. Stephen’s Cathedral

Woderful places. I only spent one afternoon in Vienna, but definitely have to go back!
Don’t miss Mayerling, while you’re there.
