Trogir and Split
If you ever rent a car in Split, our host recommended visiting Trogir, which is only 20-30 minutes away from Split. In Trogir, you get more of the old town feel than Split, plus less tourists! Try somereer local meets or watch a local soccer game, and then end your day with a beautiful sunset.
In Split, you are obliged to visit Diocletian’s Palace since it makes up much of Old-town Split. Since there is only so much you can do at a a palace, why not also spend your time at Bacvive beach for some tanning time? If that isn’t up your alley, we did find an ad for a 40€ an hour entry fee to a boat party that offers “free drinks” and “great music”.
